Family
Nurse Practitioner Certificate
This
three-semester, 33 graduate credit
certificate track is designed for nurses who
have previously earned a master’s in nursing
from an accredited program, and want to
obtain the coursework in the Family Nurse
Practitioner Concentration. The Family Nurse
Practitioner curriculum educates nurses who
will be qualified to provide primary health
care in homes, clinics, ambulatory care
facilities, long-term care facilities, and
other health care agencies. Upon completion
of this concentration, graduates are
prepared to sit for the FNP certification
exam, and to work collaboratively or

with a focus on underserved populations.
